Environmental Guidelines (What to Know)

Retention is designed for artists who prefer a moderately controlled working environment. While it performs consistently when conditions are managed, applying below 30% humidity is not recommended, as the adhesive may not cure quickly enough and could increase the risk of irritation for both the client and artist (unlikely but important to consider for those who are sensitive or have previously reacted to eyelash extensions).

Ideal Working Environment

1. Temperature: 20°C–23°C (68°F–75°F)

2. Humidity: 35–55%

If your humidity is outside the ideal range, we recommend using a humidifier or dehumidifier in your lash room for best performance.

Storage & Care

1. Store unopened adhesive in the refrigerator for up to 5 months

2. Before refrigeration:

3. Remove from box

4. Place in a press-seal bag with the provided Nano Charcoal desiccant

5. Once opened:

6. Store in a cool, dry, dark place

7. Always use a desiccant pack or rice

8. Replace opened bottles every 4 weeks for optimal performance

9. Use or discard within 6 months of order date
